At WooCaps, we stand with Ukraine
During the past few days, like most of humanity, we 've been following the situation in Ukraine with deep sadness and utter horror. We 've been informed that there are approximately 1.000 children in treatment for cancer at the moment, some of them being treated in basements of bombed hospitals.
It’s unimaginable having to fight such a war, let alone two!
In order to help, we will be donating 20% of all WooCaps March sales to financially support Таблеточки (Tabletochki), a trusted childhood cancer charity operating in Kyiv since 2011, which provides support to children & their families and invests in the professional development of Ukrainian medical staff. Unfortunately, our Mini WooCaps can't reach Ukraine, and even though we know that this is not a top priority for these children, we feel that it might be something to bring the tiniest bit of joy. That’s why we have contacted the Moldovan charity Asociatia Obsteasca "Viata fara leucemie" who will meet Ukrainian Childhood Cancer families at the south west border & we are sending over Mini WooCaps. All Mini WooCaps Donation Cards for the next month will be donated to children from Ukraine, through childhood cancer related organizations in other neighboring countries to Ukraine.
